Group Training


45 minute sessions focused on technique and fitness improvement.  Located at Hibiscus Sports Complex Mt Gravatt. Max 10 per session. Early arrivals can warm up in public swimming lane.


45 minutes sessions with focus on run technique and interval training. Held at QSAC in Upper Mt Gravatt. Max. of 10 per session. Participants are encouraged to arrive early and warm up as Intervals start at 6 sharp.

Swim / Bike / Run Bricks

Saturday morning session with swim, stationary bike and run all combined.  Bring your race suit and practice transitions.  Later start to allow for participating in Park Run Prior.  Max 5 per session due to limited number of fluid trainers.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, booking online for a group session is essential. Simply click the Book Now button on the home page for the session you want to attend.

What is the cost?

The cost to attend a group training session is $10 for single sport sessions and $20 for brick sessions (plus any venue entry costs). Note fees are discounted by 50% in July & August.

What if I book and dont turn up?

Spots are limited so if you have booked you are still liable for the session cost. If the session is fully booked and there is a waiting list you may be liable for a refund if someone wants your spot.

Is there a group discount?

Sorry no, All sessions are priced low to provide max value. Athletes can save money by buying a multi-entry pass to Hibiscus Sports Complex.

Why arent sessions the same every week?

Coach Mike often has travel commitments and thus coached sessions cannot be conducted every week.  Always check the upcoming sessions list to see what sessions are on.  Athletes are welcome to train at regular times without coaching at no cost.

What if I am on a coached plan?

The cost of an online plan does not include costs for group sessions.
